Internet Finally Seems to be Working

Pictures of my room/view off our balcony ^

I did so much in the past few days but I don't really want to make this a huge long post. So basically I've met some nice people in my dorm, found my gang, and started exploring the city. The weather was so warm when we first got there, but it's been kind of cold the past few days (nowhere near as cold as it is at home though :) ). I just wear long sleeves and my fleece and that's okay. Our dorm is in a pretty nice neighborhood and there are tons of shops, supermarkets, and places to eat close by. The water is like a ten or fifteen minute walk away and there's a long boardwalk that goes all along the city pretty much. The center of the city where the main square is and stuff is about a ten minute bus ride. The public bus system is pretty easy and cheap.

Wednesday we started orientation so that's boring but last night they took us out to this bar with live music which was pretty fun. I'm psyched to start classes and activities Monday so I can meet more Greek and international students. I'm getting sick of being with all Americans cause I'm learning that besides the group of people I feel like I could be friends with, I really don't like American people my age all that much.

We're going to Alexander the Great's family tomb tomorrow in Vergina so look forward to that now that I have internet in my room! And you can skype me (kaitz.j) or IM (NessyTheSeaMnstr) or Windows Live Messenger (kaitz.j@gmail.com). I bought a prepaid phone today but I still need a simcard for a phone number so I'll let you know.
